What actually matters under the hood
We build Sidel Matrix heater module spares as direct-fit infrared emitters that match the OEM baseline 1:1. That means you swap the lamp and the heating profile stays where it should, without re-validating. The quartz infrared lamp runs at 2.4 kW, 230 V (115 V available depending on configuration), with a 1200 mm active length and standard R7s connector termination. The filament is tuned for fast response and stable output across the PET heating band, and the lamp geometry drops straight into the original holders and reflectors on Sidel machines.
Why this matters in stretch blow molding
Stretch blow molding lives and dies by the preform’s temperature window. These emitters restore the original heat density and dwell, so the heating tunnel hits setpoint quickly—and holds it cycle after cycle. That translates into fewer temperature excursions, less under-blow, and fewer over-stretched bottles. On the line, you get more consistent output and fewer surprise stops after the lamp is installed, while energy use stays in line because the system isn’t compensating for weak or mismatched heating.
The practical stuff—do it right
Installation is straightforward, but the heating zone is high-voltage and high-temperature. Lockout/tagout. Confirm connector alignment and seating. Check reflector condition before power-up. These spares are engineered to OEM tolerances and are compatible with Sidel Matrix heater modules. They’re not a universal fit across every brand unless you confirm voltage, length, watt density, and mounting.
